Roblox is an entertaining game from Roblox Corporation which is a free to play action and adventure game available on multiple platforms including iOS, Android and desktop. The latest version of the game available on the mobile platform is 2.428.401006 that was recently updated on 17th April 2020. The game has been rated 12+.
Reviews & Ratings:
The game currently has more than 100 million downloads on Google Play and carries a rating of 4.4/5.0 while having more than 12 million reviews from global players.
Unlike multiple other games, Roblox isn’t a bandwidth guzzler and with a mere size of 95 MBs, it is a great option for the players that don’t possess the option of choosing heavy duty spec hungry games. It requires Android versions 4.4 KitKat and above, which makes it playable on pretty much all Android devices in use today.
Similarly, the game runs on all iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices having iOS 8.0 or later. On the iOS platform, the game needs approximately 180 MBs of storage space.
The desktop version of the game also has pretty basic requirements like 1GB RAM along with a 1.6 GHz or better processor.
The game is a global success which can be identified from the fact that it is available in a wide number of languages that include:
English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Vietnamese.
Upon the initial launch of the game, players are automatically taken to the Login/ Signup screen and after they’ve filled in their details, they are provided with a recommended section where small thumbnails appear.
Upon selection of any of these thumbnails, the players can launch that particular stage and initiate gameplay.
Players have the freedom of customizing their Avatar and they can choose the character’s body, clothing, animation and several other options depending upon the preferences.
During the gameplay, players have the choice of selecting from various items for purchase and then using them. One such example is furniture that can be purchased by players and placed at any place inside the house.
Cash Required to Purchase Items:
In-game purchases are made with the cash that is earned by completing levels and challenges during the gameplay. The Player’s cash is displayed at the top right section of the screen while a gaming session is in progress.
The overall game visuals are pretty basic and a reminder of the retro games, where the attention to detail is pretty minimalistic. However, a wide variety of items are available during the gameplay and players can interact with each other using the in-game chat feature.
As it is a free to play game, Roblox is a great option for fans of the “Action and Adventure” category.
The game has been a global success across multiple platforms due to the great experience it provides with such minimalistic hardware requirements.
